中心建筑面积10000m2，其中实验室面积8500 m2，拥有摩托车噪声等性能试验路1.5km长，主要检验设备近200台套；其中摩托车整车排放分析仪、底盘测功机、电磁兼容暗室及其测试设备等关键设备分别从日本、奥地利、美国和德国进口。

  中心为中国实验室认可委（CNAL）认可实验室；国家质监总局授权的国家级摩托车检验中心；国家认监委授权的摩托车产品强制认证（3C）检测机构；全国生产许可办授权的铅酸蓄电池、小型通用汽油机（通机）、汽油助力车、电动助力车检测机构；重庆市质监局授权的摩托车整车、发动机、通机、助力车和零部件的质量监督检测机构；相关认证机构授权的摩托车及通机CE、EPA、DOT、E-mark、欧洲排放等出口认证检测实验室。
 

　The construction area of the center is 10000 m2，among them testing lab takes 8500 m2. It owns a 1.5 km-long performance test road for motorcycle noise. The center possesses main test equipments nearly 200 sets, among them some key equipments including motorcycle emission analyzer，chassis dynamometer，EMC and its testing equipment imported from Japan，Austria，USA and Germany respectively.

　　The center is the approval laboratory by China National Accreditation Board for Laboratories (CNAL), the national motorcycle-testing center authorized by General Administration for Quality Supervision, the testing organization for motorcycle compulsive approval (3C) authorized by Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China. The center is the quality testing organization authorized by National Production License Office for lead-acid batteries, small gasoline engine (general motor), petrol power bicycle, electric power bicycle, and the testing organization authorized by Bureau of Technical Supervision of Quality of Chongqing for whole motorcycle, engine, general motor, power bicycle, and part and component. The center is the export certification-testing lab of motorcycle and general motor about CE, EPA, DOT, E-mark and Europe emission, etc.
